Essay

Complex investigation (both technological and spiritual components) of the everyday's bread baking traditions of the Ukrainians of the South-Western Historic-Ethnographic Macro-region of Ukraine realized in current dissertation. The object of study is the Ukrainian folk traditions of daily bread baking. Formulated the author's ideas about the genesis and primary functional and semantic essence of customs and rites, which escorts and regulates the daily bread baking process. Due to the reconstruction of bread baking evolution ascertained on the investigated territory existence of the third, except leavened and unleavened, type of bread, and offered a term for its name.
