In the thesis for the first time the problem of interrelation of organization of Soviet resistance movement with official recognition of its participants and with perpetuation of the memory about them was researched. The features of deployment and formation of struggle in an occupied territory of Ukraine were revealed in detail. It was noted that an armed resistance in the rear of the enemy was heterogeneous since the outbreak of the war. It was indicated that the struggle in the rear of the enemy included not only armed groups but also underground organizations that were created by party and power organs of Soviet authorities. An armed resistance that appeared spontaneously on the initiative of different categories of population, including soldiers of the Red Army (those that came out from encirclement and captivity) and former collaborators was discovered in the thesis.
