Object of research - metabolism of lipid in internal diseases of dogs. A research objective - to substantiate pathogenetic role of disorders of lipid metabolism in the occurrence and progression of certain domestic animal diseases, the establishment of its information content indicators for the diagnosis and evaluation of treatment of these diseases based on clinical and laboratory methods. Methods of research - clinical, general clinical blood and urine tests, biochemical studies of blood serum, instrumental (ultrasound) and statistics. Scientific novelty. For the first time in dogs with the internal diseases (hepatodystrophy, nephritis, pancreatitis, diabetes, hypothyroidism, obesity) established their important pathogenetic links caused by disturbance of lipid metabolism. For the first time the nature and direction of changes in lipid profile.
