Essay

The investigating object is a whole body of business publications during the period of Ukraine's independence as a special segment of the national media system in its correlation with global trends. In the thesis is defined the essence and typological characteristics of a special type of printed periodicals - business publications - in their global and national dimensions, features of business press are formulated as a dynamic communication system. For disclosing the scientific problems and solving problems of thesis the following methods are used at different stages: comparative-historical, classifications, comparative typological, logic, content analysis. On the basis of analysis is defined the dependence of typological dominant of business publications in their national version of the transitive nature of economic realities in modern Ukraine and their active transformations. It was found socio-political, economic, socio-cultural and editorial factors that determine the informational gap and place of business publications at the information market of Ukraine; the specific impacts of globalization on national media and peculiarities of adapting these impacts at the general and regional levels. It is emphasized on the major factors affecting the typological system of national media in general and typological features of each of its aspects. Factual material introduced in the study, basic theoretical principles and findings can be used when writing manuals, textbooks, teaching materials, the lectures and practical classes with professionally designed courses and courses for students of "Journalism".
