Essay

The thesis analyzes the participation of Ukrainians in the Army of General Anders during the Second World War. It is proved that the causes of the Ukrainian emergence into the Polish military formation were: Ukrainian participation in the Polish Army during the Soviet-Polish war of 1939 and government repression in the period of September 1939 - June 1941 against Ukrainians among the Polish citizens living in the Western Ukraine and Western Belorussia. The author discloses the Ukrainian factor in the formation of the Army of General Anders in the USSR, as well as the process of military formation crossing into the scene of military action. Particular attention is paid to the nature, tendencies and specific forms of Ukrainian operation as part of General Anders Army in Italy during World War II.
