The thesis deals with the research of process of training of masters on management of educational institutions at universities in Germany. On the basis of studying authentic materials (legislative and normative documents, curricula plans, programs, statistical data), pedagogical scientific literature the background of the formation of professional training of future managers of education in a magistracy of universities in Germany is found out; concepts of training of masters on management of educational institutions at universities in Germany are analysed; the organization, content, forms and methods of training of masters on management of educational institutions at universities in Germany are investigated; means of the current and total control of efficiency of training future managers of education in magistracies at universities in Germany are characterized. General and various features in training of masters of educational management are revealed, recommendations of use of positive experience of training masters of management of educational institutions at universities in Ukraine are made.
