The objective of the study is the multidimensionality of subject field of philosophy of education; the goal is a philosophical reflection of social engineering in the educational sphere of modern societies and methodology of practical implementation of social engineering in human-developing and socio-integrable dimensions of studying and education; the methods are the following: interdisciplinary approach methodology, historical and philosophical approach, content analysis, structural-systemic, comparative methods; the novelty is the philosophical explication of the educational dimension of social engineering and justification of social engineering as one of the priorities of modern education renewal; the results can be used as the basis of research problems of formation of educational policies in contemporary educational institutions, managing the development of secondary socialization of youth, can be used in forming the concept of sustainable development education; the specialization is the Philosophy of Education.
