Essay

The thesis devoted to studying of toxicodynamics of antiparasitic preparation closaverm-A. It has been demonstrated that closaverm-A is more toxic for white mice compared with white rats and as to sexual characteristics it is toxic for males in comparison with females of laboratory animals. Under conditions of hypodermic injection the preparation occupies the forth class of toxicity in mice and the fifth in rats; under conditions of innerstomach injection in mice and rats preparation occupies the third class of toxicity is definite and is as much as 0,875. There were observed changes in movement and emotional behaveiour when white rats were given higher doses of closaverm-A for a very long period of time; average doily mass became lower; blood, immune and respiratory systems were influenced, lipid metabolism was disturbed. On the 28th day of renewal white rats were given the highest dose of preparation felt only partial renewal and ranges of mutagenic character. During clinical investigation cows which were injected closaverm-A in therapeutical dose feet changes in the activity of blood enzymes (on the 14th and 21st day of injection) which was the result of disturbances in functional activity of the heart and liver on the basis of invasion and stress after injection of closaverm-A.
