Khmelnytska O. Educational activities and pedagogical views of M.K. Makkaveiskyi (1890 - 1919)

The pedagogical views and leading trends of educational activities of M. Makkaveiskyi are studied and substantiated in the thesis. The grounds of M. Makkaveiskyi's pedagogical views in the context of development education and pedagogical thought of the late XIX-th and early XX-th centuries, the detection of the main trends his educational activities and ideas of training and education are investigated on the basis of theoretical analysis of scientific literature and archives. The scientific-pedagogical concept of M. Makkaveiskyi is developed and substantiated. It contains the following components: methodological; substance; methodical (methods, forms, means of study). The result of the system of study, after M. Makkaveiskyi, must be spiritually rich personality with high morals, scholarship and a qualified specialist of lower education departments.
