Alekseeva V. Effect of quercetin on the progression of chronic kidney disease

The dissertation is devoted to increasing the effectiveness of treatment of patients with CKD stages II-IV by used in the complex therapy of quercetin. It was determinated activation lipid peroxidation and increase levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines in patients with CKD II-IV stages. Progression of CKD provided deepening of these changes. Most patients with CKD have progressing atherosclerotic processes and endothelial dysfunction . Using quercetin in complex treatment of patients with CKD stage II-IV have contributed to significant improvements in quality of life of patients, a significant decrease in daily proteinuria and GFR improved performance, inhibition of progression of atherosclerosis and endothelial dysfunction.
