Essay

The thesis is devoted to the formation of pedagogical mastery of the future teachers of foreign languages. The competence approach has been defined as the key one. The pedagogical conditions of the process (of creating an environment of student motivation for professional growth based on competence approach, implementation of personality oriented and problem-based learning, providing the occupational adaptation in training process) have been revealed and substantiated. The educational technology of the process has been worked-out with the scheme including: an aim, the objectives, the conceptual base (competency approach principles, the ideas of cultures’ dialogue, principles of research and creative activities of a teacher, technologies of group training, the ideas of theatrical pedagogy), content of training, types of competencies (reflective, communicative, educational and informational), forms (interactive, search classes; theatricality; excursion; Video-classes; projects), methods (conversation, dialogue, promotion, monitoring), means (video, multimedia, Internet), pedagogical conditions. The effectiveness of educational technology has been proved by experimental study.
