Essay

Research work is devoted to features of remodeling of ileocecal segment structures of intestine, its arterial blood vessel, depending on terms of obstructive cholestasis and after correction. It was established that in early terms of obstructive jaundice occur structural and spatial variations of the architectonics of arterial-bed of ileocecal segment, increases thickness of intestine mucosa due to swelling and infiltrative processes, increases the height of columnar epithelial cells, intestinal villus width and depth of intestinal crypts. With increasing duration of obstructive cholestasis in the wall of ileocecal segment were found atrophic changes and sclerosis of the mucous membrane. Dynamically with increasing duration of obstructive jaundice, these processes accompanied by changing of intestinal functional properties, signs of dysbiosis and decreasing of absorption. Correction of obstructive cholestasis in early terms (14 days) leads to the restoration of morphofunctional status of the of ileocecal segment of intestine, and is characterized by the restoration of the absorption capacity of the small intestine. Correction of obstructive cholestasis in late terms (28 days) does not ensure full restoration of structural and functional status of ileocecal segment of intestine, does not eliminate the malabsorption, combined with atrophic and sclerotic changes in the intestinal wall, which is especially pronounced in the terminal part of ileum.
