Galuzina L. The physiological state and productivity of black African ostriches on the background of a feed additive "Humilid"

Object of study: the physiological condition in ontogenesis and productivity of black African ostriches. The purpose of research - find out ontogenetic peculiarities of the physiological state of black African ostriches from the first day to 11 months for the complex estimation of parameters of homeostasis, growth and determine the features of ostriches and without the use of the influence of biologically active humic feed additive nature "Humilid". Research methods: physiological (body temperature, respiratory rate and heart rate); biochemical (determination of blood biochemical parameters ostriches and chemical, amino acid, fatty acid composition of muscle tissue ostriches, its energy and biological value); Hematologic (definition of morphological parameters of blood); zootechnical (definition of growth, development and performance of ostrich meat); clinical (review and assessment of overall health ostriches); mathematical (statistical analysis of the results, cost efficiency). Scientific novelty: for the first comprehensive assessment of the performance characteristics of homeostasis clarified ontogenetic physiological state of black African ostriches from the first day to 11 months established features of growth and development of ostriches and their productive qualities for industrial cultivation in Ukraine and on the background of biologically active food additive "Humilid". It is proved that the use Humilid to the basic diet of ostriches during their growth optimization of physiological processes of the body that manifested increased preservation of livestock of ostriches, poultry intensity of growth, improving quality and biological value of meat products. Is offered: based on the results scheme of Humilid use as feed additive to the basic diet of ostriches aged from three days to 11 months (the slaughter age). The optimum dose the introduction in the diet of ostrich feed additive "Humilid" depending on the age and body weight of ostriches. Was developed and received a patent Ukraine for utility model № 86049 "Method of feeding ostriches" and methodical recommendations on the use of biologically active food additive "Humilid" in the ostrich. Introduced: the results of studies introduced into production in JSC (JSC) "Agro-Soyuz" Synelnykove of Dnepropetrovsk region. It is recommended to add to the basic diet of black African ostriches biologically active humic fodder additive nature "Humilid" during three periods of growth poultry (based 0,1-3,5 mg humic substances per 1 kg of poultry), which provides optimize physiological processes of the body, characterized by increased preservation of livestock of ostriches, of poultry intensity of growth, improving quality and biological value of meat products, as well as gain extra profit. Research findings are used in the educational process in teaching discipline "Physiology of Animals", "Physiology of Agricultural Animals", "Biochemistry animals."
