On the basis of comparative analysis the following goals were achieved in the given research for the first time: the particular features of the basic stages of M. I. Pirogov's and M. O. Korf's life and their scientific biographies were analyzed, due to the comparative characterization social and historical conditions in which M. I. Pirogov and M. O. Korf were formed as teachers, created and developed their humanistic concept were revealed.
