Essay

The thesis based on archival sources memories of partisans, published documents and special literature reviewed regularity and peculiarity of the Soviet partisan and underground movement during the German-Soviet war in the Rivne region. The main stages of activities of Soviet partisans in the region are considered in the research. It was determined that the presence of Soviet partisans and underground fighters in the Rivne region in the first year of the war was minimal. Deploying the guerrilla movement in the Rivne region began in spring 1942. The basis of the units and groups made up of released military prisoners and fugitives, encirclement people, non-native people who somehow find themselves in the region. It was established that their activity was low, fixed assets were blasting propaganda and agitation among the population.
