Object: socio and political, cultural and educational processes on the territory of Western Ukraine from 1921 to 1926. Aim: examination of the content and role of financial, economical, cultural, educational and publishing activities of "Proforus" on the territory of Western Ukraine in the given period. Practical value: lies in the fact of clarification of activities of "Proforus" on the territory of Western Ukraine during 1921-1926 and that will assist in further investigations of the problem and will enable application of is experience in modern conditions of social development. Methods: systematization, historic, logical; classification, diachronic and retrospective analysis.
