The thesis describes the formation of the anti-rabies immunity in different species of animals and the improvement of methods for assessing immunogenicity of inactivated rabies vaccines. The results of immunological studies of the effect of stress factors on the formation of the anti-rabies immunity. Developed a range modifications of the NIH and the alternative "serum" method of testing immunogenicity of inactivated rabies vaccines. Installed a reduced level of specific antibodies after vaccination with rabies vaccine in animals exposed to various stress factors. As a result, both theoretically and experimentally proved and developed a comprehensive system of evaluation of immunogenicity of inactivated rabies vaccines, which includes: a test on animals with induced immunosuppression; the method comprising the intramuscular vaccine and subcutaneous infection control animals; NIH method of using rabies virus isolates and "serum" method of monitoring immunogenicity of inactivated rabies vaccines based on the definition of post-vaccination rabies antibody.
