Essay

Target of research - samples of maize breeding characteristics and their variability in the process of self-pollination, ability combination, yield and grain moisture, selection value. Goal of research - creation and selection of parent material and Iodent plasma synthesis based on the mid-season and late-season hybrids of corn. Methods -the standard method of creating the parent material; measurement and weight - accounting the yield, harvest grain moisture; mathematical and statistical - definition of reliability of the results of research, combining ability, ecological plasticity and stability. Results: singled the constant line DK275, DK85І, DK25І, DK454/6 DK6496 and selfed families S5 SC2 52121, SC2 52311, DW1 41211, DW1 61112, DW1 61121, DW1 61122, DW1 11-1311, DW1 11-3112, DW2 32111, DW2 32122, DW2 92311, DW2 10-1211, DW2 11-1221, DW2 12-3431; families S4 Synt2 3411, Synt2 11-332, Synt2 16-322, which formed grain yield above the standard DK411, and included in further selection process for mid-season and late-season corn hybrids. With the participation of the author to create a hybrid DN Akvazor, DN Dnepr, DN Demeter, DN Adzhamka, which are listed in the State Register of plant varieties suitable for dissemination in Ukraine in 2015, as well as DC Velez, DN Khortytsya, DN Fiesta, DN Vita, who are state variety trials. Novelty - for the first time in Ukraine singled a new mid-season and late-season selfed families Iodent plasma, as well as elite constant line of plasma and on their basis the FAO 300-500 hybrids adapted to the steppe zone of Ukraine. The efficiency of the use by the genetic structure different the parent material for breeding selfed lines. Significant assessment "per se" new lines for the main breeding grounds, as well as combining ability. Defined adaptive properties of new maize hybrids FAO 300-500. Sector - agriculture.
