Ilnytskyy I. Provisional military governorship-general of Galicia (September 1914 - March 1916): the Peculiarities of formation and functioning of the administrative staff.

During the preparative process of the thesis it was ascertained that the Russian occupation administration organization basis was the principle of its subdivision on two parts: military and civil ones. The administration of the Temporary military Governorship-General of Galicia was concentrated on the Headquarters of the Governor-General; the managing of the civil life of the territory was carried out by governors, the governor of Lviv and district chives under the supervision of office of Temporary military Governor-General of Galicia.On the base of archival materials analysis the Temporary military Governorship-General of Galicia administrative staff peculiarities were determined, social-and-professional portrait of its officials was reconstructed, national, occupational and political approaches to the staffing of central and local occupation government bodies were defined.The examination of organizational and legal, ideologically-political activity ways of structural subdivisions of the Russian occupation administration in Galicia, the characteristics of work directions of the Temporary military Governorship-General of Galicia administrative staff made possible to ascertain the fact that the administrative structure of local governments under the higher normative and legal acts of the Russian Empire didn't correspond to real circumstances and state of things on local places at all.
