Kotov S. Ukrainian Sokil movement in the 1923-1939 years

Object: socio-cultural processes in Galicia and in the cells of Ukrainian emigration. Objective: analysis of Sokil companies in the context of socio-cultural processes in Galicia and in the cells of Ukrainian immigration to Europe, North and South America. Methods: general logical (analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, induction, deduction), comparative historical (historical description, concrete historical analysis, comparative, periods, chronological retrospective), empirical, systemic-functional (structural-functional analysis), prognostic. Results: for the first time conducted the comprehensive analysis of Ukrainian Sokil companies 20-30s of XX century, determined the prevalence of Sokil movement in Galicia and its ideological platform, improved analysis of sources and historiographical material about the activities of Ukrainian Sokil companies in Galicia and in exile, characteristics of ideology of Sokil movement, leaders biographical data for Sokil companies. Scope: to further scientific research on the history of socio-political processes in Galicia in the interwar period of XX century, in political, regional and other research when writing generalizing works on the history of Ukraine and Poland.
