The thesis is devoted to complex research involving Ukrainian peasants to the resettlement policy of the USSR during the NEP. The factors, contents, economic and ethnic bases and internal Ukrainian inter-republican relocations and migrations are investigated. Characteristic is given to Legal framework of the Soviet resettlement policies followed the transformation of its national, social, cultural and religious component. Reconsidered the define of agricultural "overpopulation". Carried out a systematic analysis and reproduced the role of the state in the resettlement process, including party and state apparatus. Explored the content and features on Ukrainian resettlement policy. Analyzed the arrangement Ukrainian resettlers in new places, in terms of the efficiency of subsequent resettlement farms and satisfying their social, cultural and spiritual needs. The economic, social, political and cultural implications of resettlement policy in the 1920s. for Ukraine were researched. Proven negative results of Soviet resettlement policies for the Ukrainian peasantry. Practical advices on working with immigrants, refugees and migrants in these conditions are developed.
