Essay

The dissertation contains the results obtained by the author, which together solve scientific and practical task of improving the efficiency of interaction between railway and marine through the operation of private port stations. During research of Ukrainian transport system the discrepancy between port transshipment capacity and port stations capacity was detected. Proposed to solve the problem through the development of private port stations. An improved method for estimating the calculated volume of work of railway stations, that based on the methods of time series analysis and mathematical modeling was proposed. The method of estimation of the efficiency of station's operation on individual cargo flows was proposed. Semigraphical model of railway stations operation for technical and operational evaluation of their technology and model of car moving in circular route were developed. It was showed that the using of unit train and organization trains moving by schedule allow to reduce logistics costs. It was showed that introduction of advanced technology of transportation causes of increasing costs of port station. Improved structure of railway tariff that creating incentives for the development of private port infrastructure was worked out.
