Essay

Object of study - viability indicators (laboratory germination, germinative energy) cereal seeds studied species of perennial grasses. The aim of research was study the characteristics of germination is the formation of indicators of the viability of the seeds longevity of less common species of grass perennial grasses depending on hydrothermal factors under the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine that develop recommendations for the definition of their sowing qualities. Methods: field - finding of phenological; laboratory - testing seeds sowing qualities, physiological and biochemical properties; mathematical and statistical - assessment of the validity of the research results. In dissertation work are present the results of studies conducted in 2008-2014 years. To study the characteristics of germination and formation of indicators of sowing qualities of seeds of rare cereal grasses and their variability depending on the type of genetic characteristics and hydrothermal conditions, which are formed during the growing season in the conditions of Right-Bank Forest-Steppe Ukraine. Was established, that for all studied species is inherent after-ripening of seeds, the duration of which is depending on the species and can reach 58-158 days. On the duration of after-ripening of seeds significantly, influence hydrothermal conditions in interfacial flowering period - an complete ripeness, especially amount of precipitation and the amount of effective temperatures. For the majority of studied species, terms of energy germination accounting and laboratory seed germination does not match with international rules of analyzing ISTA. The largest period of economical longevity of seed was found in Elytrigia intermedia (Host) Nevski and Festuca tenuifolia Sibth., the smallest - Roegneria trachycaulon (Link) Nevski. On the duration of economical longevity of seed had impact hydrothermal conditions in interfacial flowering period - an complete ripeness, initial germination and seed amount, which was in a state of organic tranquility. Sector - agriculture.
