Essay

The thesis is devoted to research of age-related patterns of remodeling of the structures of urinary bladder, its vascular bed at acute urinary retention in condition of experimental postresection pulmonary arterial hypertension. A significant aging restructuring of urinary bladder was found. Herewith the decrease of the thickening of mucosa, submucosa, muscular layer and the increase of the thickening of the adventitia as well as increase of the relative amount of damaged epithelial cells was present. Experimental acute urinary retention leads to significant restructuring of the urinary bladder wall, which is characterized by severe violations of organ, tissue and cell structural homeostasis of the bladder, that increases significantly with age and the duration of the simulated pathology. Thus, a significant restructuring of haematomicrovascular bed appears: narrowing of delivering and interchanging units, expansion of bearing away vessels. Postresection pulmonary arterial hypertension significantly complicated the course of acute urinary retention, resulting in severe pathomorphological changes of the urinary bladder at all levels of its structural organization.
