Essay

Object - mathematical preparation of future sociologists in higher educational establishment. Goal - to ground theoretically and approve experimentally the pedagogical terms of forming of mathematical competence of would-be sociologists. Methods - theoretical, empiric, statistical. Originality - essence of the phenomenon "mathematical competence of future sociologists" is defined, its structure is exposed and the levels of formation are described (low, professional-standard, integral-research); pedagogical terms of forming of mathematical competence of would-be sociologists in the process of their mathematical preparation are defined and grounded. A theory and method of mathematical preparation of would-be sociologists in higher educational establishment got further development. Results - model of formation and method of diagnostics of mathematical competence of would-be sociologists in the process of their mathematical preparation in the institute of higher are elaborated. Efficiency of implementation - high. Branch - pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
