Essay

The essence of the notion "professional competence of technology teacher" has been specified, pedagogical conditions have been grounded theoretically, and the structural-functional model of forming professional competence of the future technology teachers in the process of learning national applied arts has been worked out. The content of artistic-aesthetic, project-technological and pedagogical preparation of students has been determined. The technologies of teaching applied arts have been probed. The research-experimental verification of the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of professional competence forming of the future technology teachers in the process of learning applied arts.
