Skovron I. Improvement of the technology and technical devices of multi-group trains making-up

Purpose - improving the efficiency of multi-group trains making-up process by reducing the shunting movements amount. The object of research - multi-group trains making-up process at the station. The scientific tasks were solved with the correct use of modern mathematics. Scientific novelty is as follows: the method of double-sides multi-group trains making-up was developed and formalized for the first time; the problem of determining the optimal profile of specialized double-sides sorting device was solved for the first time; the functional model of multi-group trains making-up process was improved; the simulation model of the train breaking-up process was improved; the method of determining the rational scheme of multi-group trains making-up had been further elaborated. Developed methods and models can be used for further research and solving scientific and practical task of the efficiency improving of multi-group trains making-up at the stations; the method of optimum profile determination of the specialized double-sides sorting device can be used for further research and optimization of the construction parameters of low power humps. The scientific results obtained in the thesis, conclusions and recommendations, as well as developed models and methods can be used for the operational controlling of the multi-group trains making-up process at the stations. The results were used for DNURT scientific research and educational process, which is confirmed by relevant documents, listed at the thesis annexes.
