Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the historical-pedagogical analysis of the processes of formation and development of artistic education in the colleges left-bank Ukraine in XVIII-early XIX century. The essence and the content of the notions of "art education", "musical education", "art education", "theatrical education" in the colleges of the left-bank Ukraine. Based on the study of complex archival sources, historical material and scientific literature revealed and analyzed social and cultural-historical prerequisites for the formation of the artistic education in the Colleges of left-bank Ukraine (XVІІІ - the beginning of the XIX century). Defined features content of musical, artistic and theatrical education in the study of educational institutions. Discovered the basic teaching methods of artistic disciplines in the colleges: repetition of musical material with a voice teacher and learning the basics of music charts (the lessons of music); copy (the lessons of drawing); writing poems, speeches (on the lessons of poetics and rhetoric). Set the leading form of organization of artistic education in the study of educational institutions - overtime (lesson-lesson, lesson-debate) and out-of-class (school theatre, mandatory participation in a choir, "spring recreation", "epetytsiyi", "vakatsiyi", manufacture and decoration, decorations for school theatre, ad-abstracts, letters-panegirikiv, "kuzhbushky", painting houses, and so on. Movers and author determined progressive ideas of historical and pedagogical experience of art education in the colleges of left-bank Ukraine in XVIII-early XIX century: the idea of student-oriented (individual) approach; the idea of introducing artistic component to academic disciplines (Poetics, rhetoric); the idea of the general choral collective educational institution; the idea of a joint "spring recreations"; the idea of the performance calendar of ceremonial folk in the educational process in colleges. Results of the study have been implemented in the special courses "related arts" for the students of the pedagogical faculty of the specialty "art music".
