The problem of mutual relations of the judiciary and the public has been researched integrated in the dissertation. The public participation in the formation and implementation of the judiciary and public control of the judiciary as forms of interaction between the judiciary and the public are characterized. Value of the media as a communication channel of interaction between the judiciary and the public is estimated. The concrete ways of improvement of relations between the judiciary and the public to restore confidence in the courts and judges, and to ensure conditions for their complete functioning are formulated on the basis of analysis of theoretical and practical data, gathered material and norms of the existing legislation.
