The object – the thinking models of the phenomenon of innovation activity as a sociocultural phenomenon. The purpose – justification of innovation activity as a factor of development of ukrainian society under globalization. Theoretical results and novelty – proposed the author's interpretation of the concept of "innovation activity"; grounded the necessity of forming philosophy of innovation; developed a typology of innovation systems; presented the definition axiological dimension of innovation activity; defined determinants of optimizing innovation activity of ukrainian society.
