Essay

Object: source material and breeding common bean of vegetable and grain types on adaptability, performance and content of biochemical substances. Objective: To establish the variability of economic characteristics of common bean gene pool in the phase of technically ripe green beans, physiologically ripe seeds; improving methods for assessing biochemical composition and creating adaptive, productive and qualitative lines, varieties, suitable for mechanical harvesting and processing. Novelty: parameters of variability of economic characteristics of common bean samples are set and adaptive sources for breeding for productivity - 7 samples, for containing biochemical composition - 7, suitability for mechanical harvesting - 7 and for processing - 5 samples are found. Results: the adaptive source material, 26 sources, is created and stable features are allocated such as length, width bean (V = 2,55-9,95%) and plastic - average weight of beans (V = 10,73-27,52%), seeds productivity (As = 49,5-78,1%) and sources for complex traits, depending on the conditions of reproduction and processing. Methods of evaluation of biochemical composition; creating lines and varieties of common bean that enhance the quality, productivity by 25-40%; seed multiplication, which shortens the term of growing pre based seeds for 2 years and ways to grow seeds with profitability from 119 to 122% are developed. Lines Belissimo, Pepi, Kraplinka, Knyginya are created - economic efficiency is 12,9-27,8 thousand UAH. / ha; varieties Dar - green bean yield of 10.3 t / ha, Gothica - ripe seed yield of 2.2 t / ha; Catalogue Directory, Manual of Comparative characteristics of plant of Phaseolus and Vigna genus.
