Yaremchuk Y. Transformation of Lviv city environment in the second half of 1960's – first half of 1980's

Object: Lviv and its surroundings, which in the 1960s - early 1980s became part of the city. Objective: to analyze the features of the formation of urban environment of Lviv in the context of social and political events and socio-economic changes in the second half of 1960s - the first half of 1980s. Methods: analysis, synthesis, analogy and comparison, abstraction, generalization and systematization. Results: for the first time the stages are singled out and structural consideration of the many problems of local authorities in the process of residential, industrial, socio-cultural and socio-domestic construction of Lviv is implemented, the attitude of residents of Lviv to changing of urban environment is analyzed, positives and shortcomings in the work of municipal services are characterized, achievements of Soviet power in the technical re-equipment of engineering networks and communications are defined, a complete picture of the city transport infrastructure is reconstructed, measures of the Soviet government and party committees in greening the city are considered. Scope: for writing of general and special works in the modern history of Ukraine, preparation of special courses for higher education establishments and for the development of research programs and methodical guidelines.
