The research object is the electromagnetic prosesses of the external straightening of steel car body panels. THe dissertation work purpose is the external straightening way improving of steel car body panels using the methods of magnetic pulse effects that improve body repair, reduce both the process complexity and the material and energy costs. Methods: theoretical research of electromagnetic processes in tools were carried out with the help of the electromagnetic field theory mathematical apparatus, with followed computer processing of the results.
