The thesis presents a socialphilosophical analysis of homo virtualis in the structure of modern society. On the basis of complex - interdisciplinary approach the dynamics of virtualization and changing models of society determined by the dynamics are investigated: The author studies stages of society transformation from the spectacular society (the model of Е. Guy Debord), through the simulative society (the model of J. Baudrillard ) to the model of society of interactive spectacle. Are analysed specific features and criteria of virtualization process in the modern society, the simulacra spreading and electronic virtualization as transformation mechanisms of all society spheres and its institutions. As a result of research we propose the society typology in a context of modern theoretical conceptions and present authorial model of modern virtualized society of interactive spectacle, that functions on virtual reality logic and show. The concept "society of a spectacle" contains a victory of entertainment which has become the ideology of today. The show, pageant and demonstration of simulacra detached from real objects is an essential feature of social reality. However, the result of the total spread of the scenario setting is that the virtual person becomes an operator, which is distinguishing between real/virtual and travels in pursuit of spectacle in cyberspace using the hyperlinks.
