Essay

The process of improving the training of civil servants; the goal is to study the content, forms, methods of preparation of formators in France in order to determine the ways of implementing positive experience in training of civil servants in Ukraine; Methods: theoretical analysis, comparative analysis, synthesis, comparison, simulation, summerizing, systematization of theoretical and empirical data of normative documents, methodical literature, survey, testing, questionnaires, rating evaluation; novelty: for the first time: the essence and structure of formators' pedagogical activity as the subject of the educational process in the training of civil servants in France have been scientifically proved; objectives, content, forms, methods of preparation for work in the training of civil servants in France have been disclosed; theoretical and methodological foundations of formators' training (training engineering, pedagogical engineering) have been identified; the terms "formator", "professionalisation of formators", "pedagogical engineering", "professional didactics", "professional didactics engineering" have been introduced into the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the theory and methodology of professional education; the ways of implementation of informal vocational education for adults, in particular, learning through information and communication technologies have been improved; the realization of the European standards of continuing professional education in Ukraine (lifelong learning, individual approach, etc.) as well as the ways of using information and communication technologies in the non-formal education have been further developed; results can be used during the organizational pedagogical actions for training practitioners as well as during practitioners' trainings (field classes, situational training, discussions, etc.) aimed to teach civil servants the practical application of managerial science and innovations in the public service..
