Essay

Dissertation is devoted to showing supplies of columnism as a set of columns to form a representation of journalists of their journalistic works, but not to the genre, is considered so far. Installed confusion categories form that has a different functional purpose in the journalism theory, the theory and methodology of journalistic work, the theory of publicism and the theory of journalistic generics. Genre shaping how (according to the theory of journalism and the theory of journalistic generics) is confused with one of the forms of representation of journalists created journalistic works (according to the theory and methodology of journalistic creativity and the theory of publicism). Showed phenomenon of publicism as a peculiar form of expression of the subjective views of the author, objectified his citizenship. Established the ideological and journalistic focus and problematic and thematic content of the author's column W. N. Connor "Cassandra says" in the London daily newspaper "Daily Mirror" (1935 - 1967 years).
