Essay

The object - the Olympic education of the primary school pupils; the aim is to develop and theoretically justify organizational and methodological principles of the implementation of the Olympic education into the primary school age pupils' teaching process (on the basis of the 4th grade); methods: theoretical, sociological, educational, biomedical and methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: the project "Olympic education for pupils" for the improvement of the teaching process of the 4th grade pupils, which grounded organizational and methodological foundations of the Olympic education as a specially organized teaching process is first elaborated; the Olympic education guidelines for primary school teachers of secondary schools, containing organizational and methodogical guidelines for the effective learning of the ideals and values of Olympism was first developed and proved; the forms of work in pair with parents (involvement in extracurricular and after-school activities, lectures, workshops, performances, etc.) for the optimization of the primary school pupils Olympic education were first developed; the contextual component of the Olympic knowledge integration in the educational process of the 4th grade pupils through the use of interdisciplinary connections ("Health Basics", "Fine Arts", "Labor Studies", "Ukraine and I" and others) by means of elaboration materials on Olympism, the Olympic Movement, the Olympic Games, sports and physical education was improved; information on parents and students attitude towards the improvement of the educational process by means of the Olympic education and teachers' willingness to implement it in a modern school was further developed; scientific data about the content, tools, methods and forms of implementation of the Olympic education in the educational process of students were further developed; results: the project "Olympic education for pupils", which proved organizational and methodological foundations of the Olympic education as a specially organized teaching process is elaborated; guidelines "Olympic education for pupils" for primary school teachers that will help to improve their knowledge of the Olympic topics was elaborated; research results were implemented into the educational process of the I-III stages secondary school № 10, № 23 in Ternopil, № 1 in Buchach and № 2 in Zbarazh; field of study - physical education and sport.
