Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the issues of the formation and the development of the system of preschool education in Volyn in the second half of the ХІХ - first half of the ХХ century. The socio-economic, political and cultural-educational prerequisites for forming a preschool institutions in the region within the borders of various states are determined; the pedagogical basis for the development and functioning of the network of preschool institutions in the region are analyzed and the periodization of their development during the test period is carried out; the information is deepen about the participation in dissemination and implementation of the idea of public preschool education by regional public organizations, such as: the Volyn society for upbringing of children with the department of their defence, the council custody of Jewish orphans and abandoned children, the Polish matsezhi, the district "Enlightenment", The Union of the Ukrainian women in Volyn, The Union of the Ukrainian Women of public work; the specification of the professional training of educators in Volyn is revealed and the possibilities for creative use of the achievements of preschool education in modern conditions are highlighted.
