Essay

In this thesis the results of epizootiological monitoring for 2003-2013 period have been represented; the peculiarities of nosologic specialization of the infectious diseases of a bee brood under conditions of northwestern Ukraine have been defined; the factors of diseases development depending on seasons, natural and climatic conditions have been identified. Stimulation of bee colonies with the PDE tissue drug has been proposed. The optimal concentration of the PDE tissue drug, its influence on the life expectancy of bees, on the accumulation of a bee brood, on the degree of fat body development and the cytological indices of bee hemolymph have been defined. For the estimation of the stimulants' influence on bee physiology the method of preparation of smear-tests of bee hemolymph and their visualization via contemporary electronic means of microscopy have been improved. Application of PDE by the "modified method" has been proposed; this method combines the feeding and spraying of the drug with sugar syrup; the PDE influence on the sanitary-hygienic cleaning of bee colonies has been studied. According to the findings discussed herein the methods of reasonable stimulation of bee colonies with the application of the denatured emulsified placenta for honeybee brood infectious diseases prevention have been proved theoretically and experimentally.
