Essay

The object - periodicals of Ukrainian economic partnerships in interwar period. The Purpose - to carry out a comprehensive analysis of historical and typological structure of professional and economic magazines that have been published in Eastern Galicia during the interwar period, to find a place that of this press link in the information space of that time in the region, define its role in the cultural, educational, economic and ideological life of the Ukrainian nation. Thе methods - thesis has been made on methodological principles associated with general scientific principles of objectivism, historicism, systematic, philosophical pluralism and dialectical understanding of history. They are based on a combination of interdisciplinary approaches and methods borrowed from various humanities disciplines. Thus, the use of problem-chronological and historical methods made it possible to reveal the chronological order of formation and development of economic partnerships periodicals; analysis of genre-themed palette of editions has been incarnated using genre-specific, problem-chronological, comparative and analytical content analysis method; combination of retrospective, situational and prospective approach made it possible to clarify the place of periodicals in the system of Western journalism and narrative method, combined with the analytical allowed to reveal key aspects of genre-themed editions.
