Essay

The object of the research – socio-political situation of woman in Soviet Ukraine in 20-30-ies of XX century. The dissertation purpose: complex research of a political situation of woman in Soviet Ukraine in 20-30-ies of XX century, characteristic of the social, political and ideological factors, estimation of the basic cardinal changes in situation of the Ukrainian women in structure of USSR. The methods: historical-genetic, problem-chronological, historical-tupological, historical-comparative. Scientific novelty: the dissertation is the first comprehensive study of the social and political position of women in Soviet Ukraine during the period of 20-30 years twentieth century; it is noted that an important role in changing the social and political status of women in Ukraine played the Bolshevik government after the revolutionary events of 1917; on the basis of a wide range of sources considered changing socio-political position of women in Soviet Ukraine during 20-30th. twentieth century; the evolution of the legal status of women in all spheres of life, which significantly affected the participation of women in all spheres of Ukrainian society; the directions and the results of the Bolshevik Party and the relevant bodies of the women to attract women to the social and political sphere; it analyzed the activities of public organizations and their role in addressing the "women's issue" in the Ukrainian-Soviet space; when covering the imaging features of the "new woman" in the USSR and its influence on the formation of the media, cinema and literature as a mass agitation and propaganda material of the Bolshevik government; it is proved that a change in the social and political status of women was due to the need to attract women, not only to participate in the political life of the republic, but also in the industrial sector; the formation of the "new woman" – is not just a change in the way, and the creation of workers of the male profile with the same opportunity to work for the state, to engage in social and political work, combining with housework, raising children and taking care of "equal" men. Practical value of research: the materials of research can be used for preparation of lecture courses and seminars on a history of Ukraine, special course by gender subjects. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions.
