Essay

The research is dedicated to the challenging problems of the theory of democracy and to the ways of their possible solving within the context of the deliberative model of democracy. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the way of the democratic legitimacy's problem's representation videlicet the split-level consideration of the issue at the anthropological, ontological and the metaphysical levels. The inquiry defends the thesis about Jurgen Habermas' communicative rationality theory being the major methodological basis for the deliberative democracy. The work affirms the thought of the discursive legitimacy theory's role of objectifying the tension between the liberalism and the democracy and demonstrates its efficiency.
