The peculiarities of the literary movement of the ethno minorities of the region are discovered. There is also analyzed the influence of the Evangelical Lutheran church on the creative work of German poets and writers, on the lyrical trend of Czech poetry, obtaining the political coloring of Polish literary people. As an example of the interethnic contacts, it is also shown the activity of the union "Volyn" which united the talented Polish and Ukrainian poets. Gradually their network was widening, the forms of systematization, service and mass culture were becoming more perfect. There were also discovered the peculiarities of the activity of departmental libraries (prisons, police and administrative organs). We analyzed the activity of publishing houses and bookstores which published and disseminated press issues and literature. For about 300 newspapers and national journals in the language of national minorities, different as for their content and themes, ideological orientations were published. At the same time Ukrainian publishing houses were under a permanent pressure. The creativity of musical, chorus and dancing professional and amateur groups of the region is discovered. It is also pointed out an important function of them in the process of their involvement to the standards of world art in the popularization of their own cultural tradition. The art of talented painters discloses the specificity of the "Volynyan Renaissance" of the interwar period. There were shown the main tendencies in the development of architecture in Volyn during the Second Rzecz Pospolita (Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth). Planning and functional structure of the inhabited settlements of Volyn were systematized considering the European and native architectural tendencies (residence stock, objects of infrastructure, structuring, urban and rural services). The architectural image of cities and villages is changed due to foundation of circuitous ways, widening of the market territories, re-planning and construction of residential areas etc.
