Object - the process of training future primary school teachers in higher teacher training educational establishments; aim - to find out the influence of scientifically substantiated and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of forming independence of future primary school teachers in the course of learning professionally-oriented disciplines on the changes in the levels of development of the given quality; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to present a theoretical substantiation and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of forming independence of future primary school teachers in the course of learning professionally-oriented disciplines; the definition of the term "independence of future primary school teacher" as an integrated personal quality providing for his/her cognitive activity, acquisition of new professional knowledge and modes of activity directed at the improvement of one's professional training and pedagogical activity has been specified; the content of structural components of independence of future primary school teacher and the criteria and indices of the level of development of the given quality have been analysed; the forms, methods and modes of teaching oriented at the development of independence of future primary school teachers in the course of learning professionally-oriented disciplines have acquired further study; results - the researched pedagogical conditions of forming independence of future primary school teachers in the course of learning professionally-oriented disciplines have been experimentally tested and are recommended for the implementation in higher teacher training educational establishments. The theoretical and methodological materials of the research dealing with forming independence of future primary school teachers in the course of learning professionally-oriented disciplines will be helpful to lecturers, teachers, group tutors allowing them for raising the quality of the teaching process in higher educational establishments of III-IV levels of accreditation; field - Pedagogy.
