The dissertation presents a first complete historical and pedagogical analysis of Mykhailo Kravchuk's educational activity under the conditions of national secondary and higher school's development in the early part of the XX century. Scientist' experience in secondary and higher educational institutions, educational and scientific societies is generalized. The content and main directions of his educational activity are identified in the work. The process of Kravchuk's personalizing in concrete historical conditions is described by the main factors which influenced on his educational philosophy and educational views. The periods of scientist' personal and professional development are distinguished and elucidated.
