Object - the process of professional training of future teachers in higher educational establishments; aim - to find out the influence of theoretically researched and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of training future teachers in high school students' self-education organization in the modern information- educational environment on the quality of the teaching process; methods - theoretical, empirical, statistical; novelty - the research is the first to provide the theoretical substantiation and experimentally test the pedagogical conditions of training future teachers in high school students' self-education organization in the modern information- educational environment; the essence of the term "school students' self-education" has been defined as deliberately organized pupils' self-educational cognitive activity directed at satisfaction of learning needs and interests and achievement of personally and socially important educational goals as well as readiness of future teachers to organize self-education of high school students in the modern information-educational environment; the modes of high school students' self-education organization in the modern information- educational environment have acquired further study; results - the pedagogical conditions of training future teachers in high school students' self-education organization in the modern information- educational environment have been experimentally tested and are recommended for the implementation in higher teacher training educational establishments. The theoretical ideas and practical findings of the research will be helpful during class and out-of-class activities with students training them for future professional activity, for designing curriculum and teaching programmes, for working out teaching manuals, they will be helpful to students working at course, diploma and Master degree papers ; field - pedagogy.
