Object - the text of the novel "Satan's Diary" by L. Andreyev; the aim is to determine the peculiarities of communicative and syntactic organization of the novel "Satan's Diary" by L. Andreyev; methods - anthropocentric approach, functional-stylistic method, the structural-stylistic, contextual, and interpretive; novelty - it is the first time that the specificity of the communicative and syntactic organization of the novel "Satan's Diary" by L. Andreyev" is determined, the linguistic an stylistic structure of the narrator's character is investigated in the work, his dual subjectivity is defined, the techniques of subjectivation is characterized; the author identifies and analyzes the main motives of the novel, sets their determining role in the movement and development of the text; the communicative register design of novel is characterized, main types of topic-focus structures are identified and described, the role of different focus dominants in the organization of the novel is investigated; the results - the actual material, the main points and conclusions of the thesis can be used in the courses of stylistics of the Russian language and the linguistic analysis of the text, in special courses on the theory of artistic speech and analysis of literary text, as well as in special courses and seminars dedicated to the works of writers of the XX century; field - linguistics.
