Matter: the process of the training future teachers of technology at higher school; Aim: defined, theoretically grounded and experimentally checked the pedagogical conditions of the training future teachers of technology to creating a culture of consumption in secondary school students; Methods: analysis of psychological-pedagogical, educational-methodological and instructively-methodological literature; classification, comparison, generalization; diagnostic (questionnaire design, questioning, testing, conversation, observation, expert judgment); pedagogical experiment; mathematical statistics; Novelty: first was given a theoretical basis and conducted experimental verification of pedagogical conditions of the training future teachers of technology to creating a culture of consumption in secondary school students (introduce the future teachers of technology to the role and the place of consumer education by enriching the content of the special disciplines of knowledge about the culture of consumption; implementation of a set of modern pedagogical technologies: empowerment technology, multimedia, simulation and game design and project technology; guarantee of the methodological training future teachers of technology to creating a culture of consumption at the lessons of technology); was elaborated the technology of the implementation of these conditions, based on the course «Fundamentals of consumer knowledge» and game design technology; was researched and scientifically proven content of consumption culture; was defined the concept of the essence «training future teachers of technology to creating a culture of consumption in secondary school students»; was defined the structure components (motivational, cognitive, engineering-semantic, approach-effective) content of consumer culture, levels (low, middle, sufficient, high), criterion (personality, essence, axiological, operational) and indices of the training future teachers of technology to creating a culture of consumption in secondary school students; was given further improvement of the received forms and means of training future teachers of technology.
