Pul-Luzan V. Development of composition and technology for local action drug for the treatment of upper respiratory tract.

Thesis is devoted to development of the grounded composition and technology of gel for the treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases. Theoretically grounded choice gel base and studied the physicochemical and structural and mechanical properties of gel bases with different gelling agents. According to the results of biological and microbiological testing proved concentration of active pharmaceutical ingredients: essential oil of ginger (anti-inflammatory, warming, antiseptic action) - 1.0%, clary (bactericidal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory action) - 1.0%, marjoram (antibacterial, antifungal , antiseptic action) - 0.5%, tea tree (antiseptic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory) - 0.5%. Based on multi-method research optimum composition and rational technology of the gel "Imbyrol" were substantiated. Methods of qualitative and quantitative determination of active ingredients selected essential oils and preservatives in preparations were worked out and project of ARD was developed. It was proved the gel "Imbyrol" stability during storage for two years at room temperature in the aluminum tubes. Was confirmed that developed gel is safe.
