The research focuses on informative-advertising texts of small form, which include previews, mini-reviews, mini-surveys, announcements, playbills. The texts, which feature is a small scope, are classified. Typological, genre, linguistic-stylistic features of informative-advertising mini texts are studied, their functions and functional capacity are investigated as well as the basic texts structures: thematic, factual, architectonic, compositional, informative, logical and conceptual, emotional and expressive, communicative. The requirements for small form texts by the respondents of different ages and gender are discovered, the effectiveness of mini-texts is analyzed, their ability to influence on decisions and actions of people is proved. The practical recommendations to authors who write texts of small form are worked out.
